About Thymulin

Thymulin, also known as serum thymic factor (FTS), is a naturally occurring nonapeptide, pGlu-Ala-Lys-Ser-Gln-Gly-Gly-Ser-Asn, with a molecular weight of approximately 858 Da. It is produced by thymic epithelial cells and requires a bound zinc ion for the activity described in the literature. Research applications span T-cell differentiation in culture, animal models of inflammation and thymus–pituitary signalling. The single-vial product page carries a fuller description. Who the ten-vial bundle suits

Immunology and neuroendocrine protocols involving multiple treatment groups or time points frequently require more material than a single vial provides. Supplying ten vials from one lot removes batch variation and gives a single Certificate of Analysis for the whole study.

Handling and storage

Store unopened vials at −20°C, protected from light. Reconstitute individual vials with bacteriostatic water as required and keep reconstituted solution at 2–8°C, used within 30 days. Leave the remaining vials sealed and frozen.
