About Epitalon

Epitalon is the synthetic tetrapeptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, molecular weight approximately 390 Da, developed as a defined counterpart to the pineal extract epithalamin. Its research literature, originating chiefly from the St Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, covers telomerase activity in cultured cells and various endpoints in animal ageing models. Who the ten-vial bundle suits

Protocols that run over extended periods or across multiple replicates benefit from a single-batch supply, which removes lot-to-lot variation as a variable. Because Epitalon is a very short, highly stable peptide, unopened vials keep well at −20°C, so purchasing in quantity does not compromise shelf life.

Handling and storage

Store unopened vials at −20°C, protected from light. Reconstitute individual vials as needed with bacteriostatic water, keeping reconstituted solution at 2–8°C for use within 30 days. Leave remaining vials sealed and frozen.
